Babylon Bank is considered one of the well-established private Iraqi banks, founded in 1999 with a capital of 500,000,000 (five hundred million) Iraqi Dinars. With steady progress, the bank increased its capital to 250,000,000,000 (two hundred and fifty billion) Iraqi Dinars after the General Assembly approval on the fifteenth of February 2014. This increase followed a previous capital augmentation of 250,000,000,000 (two hundred and fifty billion) Iraqi Dinars on the twenty-seventh of February 2013. Despite changes in management, the bank continued to pursue a strategy focused on developing its infrastructure in line with the evolution of the banking industry at the local, regional, and international levels. This approach aims to provide the best services to the bank's clients while safeguarding the rights of shareholders.
