Mission: We are a non–profit organization dedicated to developing and supporting of marginalized and underserved youth. Our aim is to empower youth through community engagement, education and mentorship. At Back2Basickz we build character, resilience, unlock potential, foster growth and pave the way for a future filled with opportunities and success. Values: At Back2Basickz we have many values but our main 3 are: Empowerment: instilling self-worth, resilience, and confidence. Equity; working to diminish disparities and empower all marginalized youth to reach their full potential. Education: We believe in the power of education; we strive to equip marginalized youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to break the cycle of disadvantage using innovative and creative means. Vision: We are committed to supporting the youth of our community and fostering a future where youth are well-equipped with the tools required to thrive, break down barriers, nurture potential while also inspiring and helping others. Community: Community is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to fostering transformation, uplifting, healing, and growth through a community-centric approach. The core of our mission is to support, build and strengthen our communities.
