Back to the Motherland

Back to the Motherland is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to plant a seed by providing access to marginalized children and youth through sport in an effort to develop leadership skills and confidence both on and off the court. “Our organization travels the African continent as well as cities in North America in the efforts of conducting basketball camps for underserved boys and girls. We aim to build courts and facilitate outreach initiatives to empower the youth throughout Africa” – Laeticia Amihere (Founder)
