BACKBONES exists to provide support for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI) and their families by connecting individuals to others with a similar injury and background. Through our network, we facilitate telephone, in-person and web-based connections. BACKBONES makes it easy to meet others with SCI.
Events
BACKBONES events are an alternative to the traditional “support group”. We create an inviting and informal atmosphere to educate others, socialize and network.

BACKBONES believes that we are all connected by the human experience. We highlight ABILITY and encourage EVERYONE, regardless of ability, to share their story. By initiating dialogues and communicating we can better understand each other, break down barriers, and LIVE LIFE!
