Backcountry Pros

Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Backcountry Pros is a boutique mountain guiding outfitter specializing in high-end, low-ratio guiding and instruction of backcountry skiing, rock and ice climbing, and canyoneering. Trips are offered year-round in the Wasatch Mountains near Salt Lake as well as seasonal offerings in Moab, the Uinta Mountains, City of Rocks, Alaska's Chugach and Alaska Ranges, and numerous destinations abroad including Japan and New Zealand. Backcountry Pros holds their guides to stringent training standards by closely following the American Mountain Guides Association scope of practice guidelines, which ensures clients are in appropriate terrain for their guide's level of expertise.
