Backfill Inc was formed by Paterson & Cooke as a vehicle for extending unique engineering and operational expertise out into the field - right at the pour point! We offer a complete backfill solution and unique commercial terms to support the mining cycle, enhance tailings disposal and manage remediation projects - pay by the ton or by the hour. We are relied on regularly for all aspects of paste mixing and backfilling, as well as quality control testing, remote monitoring, and program management. The scope of services can be tailored to fit each project’s particular needs, allowing us to create and place the appropriate backfill at the lowest cost. Using fully-mobile, specialized backfilling equipment and drawing from a resource pool of expert engineers, technologists, and operators, we are able to solve unique and challenging backfill and remediation problems.
