Backseat travellers is a gaming platform that allows children to play games and learn more about Europe, its culture and the languages while sitting in the backseat of the car. All regions within the different countries they pass by car are covered by location-based games, which will help prepare them for their stay abroad. The first route the team from the Netherlands (Eigenwijs op reis) is developing goes from The Netherlands to Marseille (France), better known as the Route du soleil. This popular route hosts thousands of European families during the summer.
