Our mission is to create a strong support system that facilitates both the decision-making process and the reintegration journey for returning professionals. The idea was born in 2019 by Eirini Kapogianni when she returned from Germany and immediately saw the need for a community that could help others navigate the challenges of returning home. The response was overwhelming from the start. Today, Back to Greece has grown into a thriving community of more than 20,000 members—scientists, entrepreneurs, and professionals from all industries—who have returned from various countries around the world. Our network continues to expand, providing valuable insights into career opportunities in Greece and helping individuals make informed decisions about their future. Through networking, shared experiences, and mutual support, Back to Greece is building a bridge that reconnects talented Greeks with their home country, making the return process smoother and more rewarding.
