Badra Coffee

Our family, the Mammen's, founded Badra Estates in 1943. The name originates from the bustling Badra river that runs beside our estate in Chikmagalur - the birthplace of Indian coffee. Our goal has always been to create India's most distinguished, single origin, shade-grown estate coffees. We produce and market large quantities of Arabica, Robusta and Liberica coffees. Every detail is curated with genuine purpose and intent: from nurturing a plant in our nursery, to growing a plant to maturity, we create the ideal environment which yields predictable results. The culmination of more than eight decades of experience and a tireless commitment to creating the perfect bean has resulted in some of the finest award winning coffees, cherished the world over.
