Bafarat was established in 1952, by its founder the late Omar Ahmed Bafarat. He began the company in Makkak Al-Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia as an importer of spices, herbs and coffee. Omar quickly caught the attention of consumers with his enthusiasm for both his product and customer service, and the establishment began to import products from around the world. Bafarat soon became the most reliable name in the market for the trade of coffee, herbs and spices. Over the following 60 years the company has proceeded to thrive and expand with extraordinary speed. Bafarat is still a family business, with the sons and grandsons of Omar Ahmed Bafarat now guiding the company.
