Turning Leftovers into Lifelines... Bagel Rescue is a community-powered nonprofit on a mission to reduce food waste and fight hunger by rescuing unsold bagels and baked goods from local bakeries and delivering them to organizations feeding our neighbors in need. What began in Atlanta has grown into a model of food rescue that’s expanding into new cities. Each week, our 250+ volunteers collect fresh food from 60+ bakery partners and deliver it to 150+ food programs across 12 counties, preventing thousands of pounds of good food from going to waste and redistributing it with dignity.
