The word “Bahari” means “ocean” in Swahili, embodying our passion for Africa and its richness. Our logo, inspired by the traditional dhow (a traditional East African sailing boat), symbolises our commitment to authenticity and adventure.
The story of Bahari begins in Kenya, where two French individuals from Burgundy crossed paths. Their French expertise seamlessly blended with African terroirs, giving birth to The African Rum Collection.
Each bottle in our collection is the result of meticulous exploration of African lands, their unique terroirs, and various distilleries.

L'histoire de Bahari commence au Kenya, où deux Français originaires de Bourgogne se sont rencontrés. Leur savoir-faire français s'est harmonieusement mêlé aux terroirs africains pour donner naissance à ‘La Collection des Rhums Africains’.
