Bailey Public Library

Founded in 1916, the C.M. Bailey Public Library is a vibrant hub for learning, creativity, and community connection in Winthrop, Maine. It serves as a launchpad for personal growth—fostering curiosity, collaboration, and the free exchange of ideas through a wide range of resources and engaging programs. The library meets the informational and cultural needs of the entire Winthrop Lakes Region. Its operations are funded by the Town of Winthrop, the Winthrop Public Library Foundation, the Friends of the Bailey Library, and generous support from individuals and local businesses.
