BAIS Argentina

BAIS Argentina is the first non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to the social integration of foreign youth through weekly activities, expanding their understanding of the country and culture, and making their stay easier and more enriching. Our goal is to give exchange students the chance to meet each other and experience Argentina differently, supported by comprehensive guidance that helps them embrace a new culture. In 2005, we began organizing activities to integrate students at universities in Buenos Aires. Working with the international relations of these universities, we identified the various needs of foreign students at that time. We developed a non-profit project to support students in Argentina, offering guidance on life in the country and practical advice. In 2007, after two years of independent work, we founded BAIS (Buenos Aires International Students), where students could feel identified and supported during their stay. Vision: Eliminate cultural shock for students by providing support even before they arrive in our country. Values: Positive attitude, Equality, Integration, Creativity, Good Vibes, Professionalism, Productivity, Camaraderie, Quality, and Proactivity.
