The Society for Educational Welfare (SEW) is a non-profit NGO registered under the Societies Act of 1860. SEW is dedicated to serving the deprived population of Pakistan by providing education and fostering healthy values, with a focus on conceptual understanding of Islam. What began as a few Baithak Schools in 1996 has now expanded into a network of community-based welfare schools across Pakistan, adhering to the prescribed curriculum of the respective Educational Boards.
Currently, SEW operates over 140 purpose-built schools, educating more than 20,000 students throughout Pakistan while also offering vocational training through its vocational centers.
SEW is certified by Alhamd Shariyah for the collection of zakat and undergoes annual audits conducted by the renowned company Grant Thornton.
