About Bakersfield Republican Women, Federated
Established in 1963, Bakersfield Republican Women, Federated (BRWF) has a rich history of fostering women as leaders and promoting the Republican Party. Our main focus is to educate our members on issues and candidates through our monthly general meeting speakers, providing access to conferences and conventions, by working on campaigns, and through personal research. Cultivating informed and persuasive Republican Women is how we contribute to our community and helping elect Republicans in our county, state, and country is what we strive for! Our club is active in promoting education through our literacy and library projects, connecting with our troops overseas with care packages, and reaching out to those in need in our community. Each year, BRWF presents a fundraising event for our community to be a part of. These events help us raise funds for our yearly operations. We are an affiliate of the California Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women; two grassroots political groups that are some of the largest and most influential women’s political organizations in the country.
