Founded in 2018, Balance is an innovative start-up focused on supporting companies towards a continuous improvement process of their performance. Company's strength is using an engineering approach to problem-solving in a context where team building is the keyword. Balance is a spin-off of the University of Florence. The team has been working in consulting since several years, using a methodic approach that includes a process analysis as first step, following by its mapping in order to define and then implement improvements. In addition, the provided training activities include both the support to key-users in the go-live step of software implementation and training courses on hard and soft skills. Finally, Balance supports companies in the production planning, representing one of the most critical and challenging step within the supply chain due to the market need of products life cycle even shorter than the past guaranteeing, at the same time, outstanding quality levels. Here the BPlan idea, an user-friendly and easy-to-apply tool to simulate different optimized production plans and compare themselves through a specific set of KPIs.
