About Us We are located in the heart of Ball Square in Somerville, MA. Ball Square Café offer’s our guests an array of delicious breakfast and lunch items. Our complete menu is available for take out and most menu items can be prepared to meet your dietary needs. Our History Ball Square Café was a dream. It began with a unique opportunity to build a business in a space available for lease in Somerville, MA. This chance was recognized by Mike Moccia, a former employee of his family business, Victor’s Deli. After Moccia teamed up with Omar Djebbouri, a longtime friend and talented chef from the original Sound Bites, that dream would soon become a reality. It took a lot of drive and passion, and several months of renovations, but on September 16th, 2007, Ball Square Café was ready to open its doors with a soft opening. The festivities included all items complimentary to an assembly of friends and family. And on the following day, September 17th, 2007, The Café had its Grand Opening. Ball Square Café continues to thrive amidst the competition, thanks to the dedication of Mike Moccia, Omar Djebbouri and the rest of the Ball Square Café team!
