The BALSA Foundation is the philanthropic arm of The BALSA Group focused on helping individuals start businesses. We provide informational resources, peer-to-peer advising, and non-dilutive funding to people wanting to get their business dreams off the ground. We support individuals who may not have access to such expertise or financial capital and who are in the process of starting their first business.

What is our mission?
The BALSA Foundation was founded to support anyone wishing to pursue new business ideas but who may not have the background, resources, or funds needed to get started. Our mission is to make entrepreneurship accessible – and success attainable – to everyone. We aim to cultivate an inclusive entrepreneurial culture in St. Louis by preparing any inventor or creative thinker to enter the St. Louis entrepreneurial community.
