The Baltimore Community ToolBank offers tools and equipment to strengthen and celebrate our shared community through a dynamic network of partner organizations. Tools are lent at just 3% of retail value per week to help partners amplify their work in our community.
There are 8 city-based affiliates in the ToolBank network and 2 mobile units that respond to disaster areas in the domestic US. ToolBank Nation now empowers hundreds of thousands of volunteers with access to tools nation-wide every year.
The Baltimore ToolBank is a social-justice organization focused on providing access to underserved populations: other community-based organizations that are too often over-committed and under-resourced. We provide access to tools, equipment and project expertise in order to save our partners limited and valuable time and capital.
