Baltimore Medical System is a community-based, independent non-profit dedicated to improving the health and wellness of medically underserved communities in the Greater Baltimore area. We are the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system in Maryland. Being an FQHC means that we must meet government standards for quality of care and we must provide a defined range of basic health services. With six community health centers, five pharmacies and eight school-based health sites, we are helping to improve the health and quality of life for over 60,000 patients a year.
