Maryland Safe Haven

OUR MISSION Baltimore Safe Haven seeks to provide opportunities for a higher quality of life for TLGBQ people in Baltimore City living in survival mode. OUR VISION We envision a world in which every transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer (TLGBQ) person is able to live a healthy, self-determined, and self-sufficient life free from stigma, violence, and oppression. WHAT WE DO To achieve this vision, we connect with the most vulnerable members of our community while challenging structural barriers to health, safety, and prosperity. Baltimore Safe Haven provides compassionate harm reduction and upward mobility services, advocacy, and community engagement that is respectful, non-judgmental, and affirms and honors individual power and agency. Our programs include community outreach, drop-in, and housing services. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
