BAMB was created to address one problem - smelly feet. The solution? Natural antibacterial bamboo fiber socks. Feet smell because of sweat, and buildup of bacteria in our socks. Regular cotton/polyester socks are bad at soaking up all that moisture, causing sweat to pool in your shoes, and bacteria grows. Result? Soggy socks. Smelly feet. That's why we knit BAMBs using 80% pure bamboo fiber and 20% spandex. If we could make it 100% bamboo, we would. But spandex strengthens the socks, and gives it elasticity so we’re letting it stay. Sock Tech: Why Bamboo? - More absorbent - Fast drying - Silky soft Bamboo fiber are naturally more absorbent than cotton and polyester, allowing BAMBs to absorb more sweat, and wick away moisture faster. More absorbent & faster drying = less sweat & bacteria. Why use 80% pure bamboo? Isn't that expensive? Why not use a bamboo cotton/polyester blend like other bamboo socks in the market? No cotton. No polyester. No more smelly feet.
