Bamboa is a Hong Kong based designer & manufacturer of contemporary and chic bamboo household products produced in Asia in a sustainable manner. All of our products conform to recognised environmental & social standards including the FDA, E0, OEKOTEX, REECH, ESCI and LFGB. We design and produce a wide range of 100+ bamboo products ranging from bedding, towels, t-shirts, dining ware and even sunglasses! When you buy our products, you are supporting local businesses and rural industry in countries including China, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia & Indonesia. Our Grow Bamboo Initiative (GBI) is located near Kathmandu in Nepal in community forests located in a valley prone to landslides. Growing Bamboo restores degraded lands to help prevent flood damage as well as helping to empower local communities as they are able to harvest & sell the bamboo.
