Bana Up – Transforming Food Waste into Value Bana Up is an innovative startup founded during the Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) Agritech Challenge 2024 at KNUST. Our mission is to tackle post-harvest losses in the banana supply chain by converting surplus green bananas into premium value-added products. With a multidisciplinary team of professionals from Business Administration, Biochemistry, Agricultural Biotechnology, and Communication Design, we combine expertise and innovation to deliver sustainable solutions. Our flagship product, banana flour, is enhanced with natural preservatives like lemon to ensure exceptional quality and shelf life.
