Banana Leaf Technology is a climate technology company building scalable carbon removal solutions and products. We capture carbon directly from plant residues and transform it into biocarbon and bioproducts that reduce carbon emissions and plastic pollution. We’ve created a new biotechnology that preserves and enhances leaves for a year without using any chemicals. This technology creates single-use products from plant leaves that are 100% sustainable, capture carbon instead of releasing, cost less, and are made with zero chemicals. The enhancement transforms the leaves' properties resulting in a three-year shelf life and a carbon-negative, biodegradable material alternative to plastic and paper for most single-use products. Over time, this clean material naturally breaks down into harmless substances, leaving no toxins or microplastics—just like a plant leaf—contributing to a net-zero, circular economy.
