BHEC is a company mainly involved in the design of hydro power and other water resource development projects like lift irrigation and flow irrigation systems. As an organization, it carries with it the legacy and enormous technological capability and experience gained by senior experts while working on large hydro projects in the country. The experts have mentored a good team of dedicated engineers to take on challenging projects both in the field of hydro power and lift irrigation schemes. We use both commercial FEM softwares for design analysis and have developed a vast array of excel spreadsheets for design of various structures frequently encountered in water resource development projects. The capabilities include identification of sites for hydro power development, preparation of Feasibility Reports, Detailed Project Report, Due-Diligence Reports etc., Stream Gauging, Topographical Survey, Geo technical Investigations (through our associate companies), Pre-tendering services, bid evaluation. Our core strength lies in supporting the contractor throughout the execution of the project by providing design for all civil structures with construction drawings and performing periodical site visits to assist the contractor in finding quick solutions for problems and achieving timely execution of the project. We also have a dedicated team for supporting Electromechanical and Electrical BOP packages of the project by drawing specifications for various equipment, vetting of vendor data and supporting the erection and commissioning personnel. We can even provide training to the O&M personnel for smooth running of both hydro power and lift irrigation plants
