Beta Alpha Psi at UTSA

The purpose of this group is to facilitate communication between The University of Texas at San Antonio Beta Alpha Psi members and alumni on LinkedIn. Beta Alpha Psi is a premier international honor and service organization for Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems students. Since 1984, the Eta Beta chapter has been committed to developing student members that can make an effective transition into ethical, professional, and confident leaders. Chapter activities are planned to accomplish the following goals: • help students build their professional skills; • foster interest in current career topics by connecting academic preparation with the practice of accountancy, finance, and information systems; • provide an avenue for students to build relationships with professionals working in a variety of industries; and • inspire a lifelong commitment to service. Our professional meetings, service activities, socials, and recruiting fairs all provide opportunities for members to develop relationships with prospective employers. Most employers target Beta Alpha Psi members exclusively for the recruiting process because student members likely exceed their minimum hiring requirements.
