Baqta - Fermented Superfoods Srl

Baqta was born in 2023 with the aim of proposing new superfoods, with increasing nutritional values thanks to the power of fermentation. Since 2014 we started studying the biological process of fermentation and the multiple possible combination of microorganism. Low cost and low energy preservation are not the only advantages of fermentation. Infact, in this biological process microorganisms are able to: • degrade antinutritional factors • increase the antioxidant power • improve the bioavalaibility of proteins, minerals and vitamins • increase the production of healthy molecules such as short chain fatty acids (anticancer-antiinflammatory) • select specific microorganism to guarantee an healthy microbiota: low incidence of type two diabetes, obesity and low cholesterol levels. For this reason we can say that fermentation is able to unleash the real power of foods.
