In a shared desire, Ivana and Benjamin based their firm BarbaritoBancel architects in 2011 after more than 10 years of experience, where different life courses and complementary insights are united by the common pursuit to renew at each new project, the pleasure of architecture, for the thinking of space designed by light, for the design, teamwork, encounters with clients and artisans, experimentation with new techniques and materials. A continued transformation looking for the balance between rigour, fantasy, sensitivity, method, discussions, listening, and many drawings. The firm is often called the BBteam. We love this nickname, which reveals the state of mind of our teamwork enthusiastic to offer ingenious solutions, integrating the whole of the data. The architectural creation begins when the project is released from its constraints. We know the demands of results, availability and responsiveness. We know that the anticipation, associated with rigour and imagination, is the best method to limit hazards, along the iterative process of the project and meet the 3 cumulative objectives of quality, budget and planning. We design our projects in their entirety, from the scale of master plans to interiors up to the furniture design. The team deploys its capacity to adapt to the conditions of atypical contexts and complex and varied programs around the world. We have a strong expertise in intervening on the existing, in major renovations and real estate valuations in the heart of the Parisian heritage. Searching for a form of architectural truth, we believe in the universality and timelessness of emotion.
