Barbary Films is a Film & TV production company based in Paris. After having mainly produced Italian & French authors, we are currently focusing on international production and coproduction of Premium Content.
In that regard, Barbary Films recently produced its first english language TV Series along with MGM and Eagle Pictures: A ten episods adaption of Joël Dicker's novel, The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair, entirely directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud and shot in Canada. The Series will air on TF1 by the end of 2018.
Barbary Films is currently developping other TV Series projects with Joël Dicker, as well as a show with Abdel Raouf Dafri (A Prophet), an adaptation of The Boy Who Granted Dreams by Luca Di Fulvio, an Epic 3 seasons series on Nostradamus, based on The Magus Trilogy, and a long feature, Histoire d'O, based on the eponymous novel written by Pauline Réage.
