Barbell at Berkeley is a vibrant, student-led community at UC Berkeley dedicated to bringing together individuals passionate about all forms of lifting – from Olympic lifting and powerlifting to bodybuilding and strength training. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive environment where lifters of every background, regardless of race, gender, sex, or sexual orientation, can find support, growth, and success. Our club is all about fostering holistic development in the world of fitness. We offer a range of activities, including weekly group sessions, PR nights, specialized content on nutrition and injury prevention, and beginner-friendly workshops.
