Barcelogic

Barcelogic is a spin-off from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC, aka Barcelona Tech). It is owned by Robert Nieuwenhuis and Barcelona Tech. Barcelogic applies its world-class logic-based solvers, as well as other math and constraint-programming-based methods to hard real-world combinatorial optimization problems. It has customers in professional sports scheduling in Holland, Portugal, the UK, Denmark, Italy, Mexico, Spain (football, cricket, basketball), and in transport and logistics (e.g., for one of the world's larger clothing companies). Barcelogic also provides customized solvers for optimal employee scheduling, vehicle routing and industrial task planning.
