BARE Movement Launched in June 2015 at the Women of Achievement conference, BARE Movement is a range of 100% naturally derived, Australian sourced and made hair care (including shampoo, conditioner, styling, treatments) skin & body care products, soy candles and more. Developed by Annalisa Siefken in response to the increasing amount of chemicals in our self-care products, BARE Movement is all about empowering people to turn daily habits into self care rituals, live more consciously through easy access to chemical-free hair and skincare products without compromising on quality and effectiveness. A career hairdresser, Annalisa had experienced ill health for many years with no insight from medical professionals as to the possible cause. Whilst pregnant with her son and forced to spend a significant amount of time away from work, her health significantly improved. Due to health issues experienced by her infant son, Annalisa drew on her intuition and not only completely overhauled her family’s diet, but also made her home chemical free. The improvement in the health of her family motivated Annalisa to research how she could create hair and skin care products which were chemical-free, natural and founded in her ethics of conscience living. Through her partnership with an ethics-driven research and development company, Annalisa was able to create the BARE Movement range of shampoos, conditioners and skin care products. FDA approved, BARE Movement products are Australian sourced and produced, and are free from sulphates, parabens, ethoxylates, paragons, propylene glycol, petrochemical cleansers, silicones, phthalates, DEA and artificial colours. No products are tested on animals and ingredients sourced outside Australia are Fair Trade certified. Such is Annalisa’s passion for her conscious living philosophy, she sourced packaging that used materials that were recycled and recyclable.
