1996 yılında OT/VT (Otomatik Veri Tanımlama) sektöründe hizmet sunma amacı ile kurulmuş olan Barkodes, müşteri odaklı yaklaşımı ve AR-GE odaklı faaliyetler ile ihtiyaç analizi, maliyet analizi, projelendirme çalışmaları yapmaktadır. Faaliyet alanları olan Personel Devam Kontrol (PDKS), Access Kontrol, Ödeme Sistemleri, Barkod, RFID, Depo Yönetim Sistemleri, Varlık Yönetim Sistemleri ve Filo Yönetim Sistemlerinde Yerli ve Milli Mottosu ile geliştirmiş olduğu %100 Yerli donanım ve yazılımları kullanılmaktadır.
Çözüm odaklı ve hızlı sonuçlarla işlem gerçekleştirilip, güçlü ve uzun soluklu ortaklıklar kurularak kısa sürede önemli projelere imza atmış, hizmet verdiği sektörlerde güçlü bir yer edinmiştir.
Bu çabanın sonucu olarak AR-GE departmanını kurmuş ve elektronik devre tasarımı, elektronik kartlar, donanım üzerindeki gömülü yazılımlar, e-bilet uygulamaları, temassız akıllı kart okuyucular ile birçok alanda kendi markasını yaratmıştır.
25 yılı aşkın tarihi içinde özellikle “üretici” olmayı temel alan Barkodes, kendi donanım ve yazılımlarını geliştirme üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Üretimini yaptığı ürünleri 16 ülkeye ihracat yapmaktadır.
RFID çözüm sistemleri, KVKK uyumlu Biyometrik veri, QR, NFC ve teknolojik alanlarda otomatik veri toplama ile ilgili faaliyet göstererek
12 marka, 8 patent ile AR-GE çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.
