Barrett Group started as Brenbuild, which was founded in 2008 as a business specialising in concrete frames, minor and major building works, refurbishments, insurance, flood damage, renovation and alteration works. The Company grew rapidly and began to undertake diverse projects such as Rail, Highways, Power Stations, Biomass Plants, Environment Agency, Steelworks and The National Grid.
Due to the diversity in works, Barrett Civil Engineering UK was established to focus on all future civil engineering contracts, releasing Barrett Group to continue pursuing medium to large build contracts.
Barrett Civil Engineering UK specialises in Groundworks, FRC and heavy civils and can work on a wide variety of contracts nationwide, ranging from the provision of fully trained and certified operatives on a labour-only basis to completing full labour, plant and material packages up to £20 million in value.
Barrett Plant provides the Group with an array of plant including excavators, rubber ducks and truck mounted concrete boom pumps. The concrete pumps range in size and are also available for hire, manned by our experienced operatives.
The Group benefits from a full time Health and Safety Manager, has an excellent Health and Safety record which exceeds the requirements and expectations that are in place to protect the workforce, the community and the environment.
Everyone working on site is appropriately trained and accredited for the works being undertaken and by providing continuous training, monitoring and support to our workforce the Barrett Group UK continues to achieve zero accidents and 'near misses'.
