The Bartley Skills Development Program is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2018 by Chadwin and Camille Bartley. While growing up, they both noticed the kinds of challenges that were commonplace in their community. In response, they started the BSD program to provide young people with the support they need to achieve confidence and success.
We believe in order to develop a strong career plan, one must be exposed to a variety of activities and perspectives to gain new insights into potential interests. We introduce participants to a range of different sporting & educational activities that also allows them to expand their network while establishing lifelong relationships.
The Bartley Skills Development Program offers sports programming, barbering and hairdressing courses, and job skills training. Through the Hair for Self-Esteem program, the organization offers free hair services to marginalized communities.
