BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC)

BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre [BAETC] was established in 2004 and is fully owned and operated by Bahrain Airport Services [BAS]. It is the first such organization in the region, and the second in the world, to receive an EASA Part-147 Training Organization Approval outside the European Union. It provides basic aircraft engineering training, specialized aircraft type-rating courses, as well as ground operations training. BAETC was also accredited in 2012 by EDEXCEL to award the UK Higher National Diploma (HND) in Aeronautical Engineering. The Centre is justifiably proud of its heritage, and upholds the BAS tradition and successful history of providing services to the world's airlines. Our aim is to provide the best learning experience to students through a stimulating and well-balanced training program, operating the most specialized aviation training centre in the region. The training program combines the practical and theoretical aspects of the principles of aircraft maintenance engineering. It is designed to offer more personalized training and instruction by maintaining a maximum of 25 students per class. Our aviation training workshop ensures that it meets the highest standard of excellence by using sophisticated training facilities and equipment under the guidance of highly qualified instructors. Students learn their craft at BAS Engineering Complex located at Bahrain International Airport.
