BASE Aerofotogrametria e Projetos S.A.

Founded in 1974, BASE Aerofotogrametria e Projetos S.A. is registered in category "A" of the Ministry of Defense since 1987 - which accredits to carry out all stages of aerial survey. It was the first company in the sector in Latin America to obtain international ISO certification 9001: 2000 in 2002. Today, BASE Aerofotogrametria e Projetos S.A. is a company specialized in the acquisition of aerophotogrametric images, surveying and geodesy, production of maps, charts and crops for the spatial and environmental planning and territory management and engineering projects. With around 80 employees, BASE has the most modern technology available for collection and processing of images while maintaining the highest aerophotogrammetric collection of the country. Having the largest aerophotogrammetric collection in Brazil, BASE Aerofotogrametria e Projetos S.A. contributed and continues to contribute to the development of the country. This historical photographic material represents an important database for studies and evidence of various kinds, such as environmental preservation, reforestation, infrastructure, mining, engineering companies, and lawsuits, among other purposes.
