Basecamp Hotels was born with the goal of bringing the spirit of exploration back into the hotel industry. Our mission is to take under-appreciated buildings in great destinations, infuse them with soul and great design touches to create an alternative to the often stagnant hotel landscape. The communal atmosphere at Basecamp is designed to get guest to interact with like-minded people of all ages and demographics who are young-at-heart. The focus at basecamp is on what is important to the spirit of adventure and not what is dictated by clumsy brand standards. Basecamp is about living in the moment and savoring nature and low-tech delights. We love the outdoors and embrace/respect nature without being preachy about it.
