Baseline Environmental Consulting is an Oakland-based multi-disciplinary environmental consulting firm that was established in 1985. Baseline's environmental practice focuses on hazardous materials investigations, air quality assessments, noise studies, and environmental impact reports prepared under CEQA/NEPA. Our core philosophy focuses on advancing our client’s long-term interests and objectives by doing quality work in a timely and responsive way. Maintaining this philosophy and practice for over 35 years has resulted in many long-lasting collaborative client relationships. Our technical services include the preparation of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Environmental Site Investigations, Air Quality and Health Risk Assessments, Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventories, and Noise and Vibration Assessments. Baseline has prepared numerous technical studies to support environmental review of transportation projects in the Bay Area and is familiar with Caltrans procedures. Our CEQA/NEPA services include environmental compliance monitoring and the preparation of and/or contribution to environmental documents on mixed-use developments, general plans, infrastructure improvements, transportation projects, and mining projects. By working closely with our clients and numerous state and local agencies, our reputation is one of performing thorough and technically sound work that is legally defensible.
