Basic Law Foundation

Basic Law Foundation Ltd (“The Foundation”) is a registered company in 2016 by Dr. Hoey Lee Simon (“Dr. Lee”), who have rich experience in organizing and engaging activities relating to Basic Law education and research. The Foundation solely focuses on supporting, providing, conducting and promoting education and research of the topics stated on the objectives section. Objectives 1. To promote the Basic Law education and research. 2. To support academic research on the Basic Law, the “One Country, Two Systems”, the Constitution, mainland-Hong Kong relations, better governance. 3. To promote academic exchange on Basic Law study among Hong Kong, mainland and overseas 4. To offer and sponsor research, education and promotion projects that meet the foundation’s objectives. The Foundation aims to become a non-profitable, non-government and non-political organization that could provide an all-rounded and high quality Basic Law education to public. It will provide a number of services, which are respectively (but not limited to): 1. Community and schools talks, 2. Online education on social and professional media platform, 3. Research project on the Basic Law, 4. Academic seminars and conference about the development of the Basic Law and constitutional affairs, 5. Basic Law training program, supporting the Basic Law education in primary, secondary and tertiary schools and 6. Other relevant community events.
