The Main laboratory is working as central pillar for one of the largest tertiary care hospital in Pakistan. The department of clinical pathology JPMC (Main Lab) has started providing unified services round the clock throughout the year. All mushroom laboratories working in JPMC are merged into the central laboratory to enhance its service and quality. Centralization of diagnostic service was done to achieve authenticated results. The laboratory caters to all in-patient, in various wards along with every OPDs, ER, Gynae ER, Surgical & Medical ICU. To facilitate the patients a centralized phlebotomy is established on the ground floor with different windows for rendering different services. Report retrieval & dispatch counter is also established for the patients. A well litted and aerated sitting area and facilitating centre is also established for patient providing services all under one roof with facility of male and female toilets, fans and water chillers for the patients.
