BASICS Scotland is a registered charity, a voluntary emergency service and is supported by Medical Professionals serving the public.
BASICS Scotland Responders cover Scotland providing a 24 hour service 365 days. Our responders are entirely dedicated volunteers who sacrifice precious family and work time with employer support, their interests especially Pre-Hospital care but more so.. they place themselves in a hostile environment without hesitation, to care and support injured patients prior to receiving definitive hospital care.
Our Responders work closely with our Multi-agency partners :Scottish Ambulance Service, Police , RAF Search & Rescue, Mountain Rescue Coast Guard and Fire & Rescue Services.
