Dr. Juliana Basko-Plluska is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and Pathology (board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Basko-Plluska completed her undergraduate studies at the prestigious University of Chicago, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and graduated Suma Cum Laude in the top 1% of her class. She then went on to receive her medical degree from the elite Harvard Medical School, followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Subsequently, she returned to the University of Chicago Hospitals, where she completed her residency in Dermatology, serving as a Chief Resident during her last year, and fellowship in Dermatopathology.
Upon finishing her training, Dr. Basko-Plluska remained on staff at the University of Chicago, where she now serves as a Clinical Associate, teaching young dermatologists how to best serve their future patients while utilizing cutting-edge technology.
