After earning an undergraduate degree with high honors from Columbia University, I embarked on a successful twenty-year career as a performing artist in which my attention to detail and unfailing reliability were major assets. Behind the scenes, I have always loved words and language and have been the one my friends and colleagues turn to when they need someone to look over their grant proposal or job application letter. With the intent of developing these language skills into a profession, I completed the specialized training course Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ and am now helping court reporters to turn out transcripts that are clean, clear, and on time.
