Bater Electric Ltd. is proud to be the largest locally owned electric motor repair and rewind shop in Prince George. We are the only motor shop in town that deals with little bathroom fans, all the way up to heavy-duty motors 1000hp+ Founded in 1942 by Art Bater the shop started small and Bater Electric ltd. has grown over the years. In 2019 a small group of local people purchased Bater Electric with the drive to make it a state of the art shop that focuses on small motor repair up to 1000HP. Our equipment and our processes are streamlined to ensure reliability at an economical value. Bater Electric focuses on serving our customers both large and small with sales and top notch service of electric motors, pumps, servo’s drives, and related equipment. In the past 2 years the new ownership has replaced almost all of the calibrated and test equipment to ensure the repairs and the reporting are industry leading. With this new equipment and repair standards we exceed the requirements of EASA Accreditation and are happy to be one of the few shops in Canada with this level of repair standards.
