BASBAŞ - Western Anatolia Free Zone Development and Operating Co.

The Western Anatolia Free Zone (WAFZ) is the latest free zone established in Türkiye and is operated by BASBAŞ, Western Anatolia Free Zone Development and Operating Co. BASBAŞ is responsible for building the entire infrastructure and providing all the essential services such as electricity, water, telecommunication and natural gas to the companies. The total area of WAFZ is 250 ha. The free zone is approximately 10 km to the Highway and 33 km to the Aliaga Ports. Several monetary and customs-related exemptions are offered at the Free Zone, especially for manufacturing companies. With its perfectly flat land and available parcels, it is an ideal investment location for large companies and business organizations. The WAFZ is aimed to reach a trade volume of $4 billion and provide employment to approximately 20,000 people in the upcoming years.
