The Batoro Systems GmbH has developed a mass customization system and a standardized 3D body scanning tool that automatically calculates body measurements by using a low-cost standard depth & motion sensor camera. This opens up the possibility of killing two birds with one stone in apparel e-commerce: increase the retailer's profit and the customers's satisfaction at the same time by picking the one thing that is of burning importance to the customer: What's my size? Furthermore Batoro Systems has developed a custom made outdoor jacket by using our made-to-order configuration toolkit for premium apparel brands. The prototype series was manufactured in Europe.
