The Battery Effect is a social responsibility platform that drives foot traffic and sales for retail clients. We leverage our client’s store fronts as convenient drop off sites for used household batteries, ensuring equal and convenient access for everyone. Our platform utilizes a mobile application which helps residents find convenient drop off sites, along with important information such as store hours and directions. When a customer drops off their used batteries, they’re further incentivized to make a purchase through in app coupons and promotions, tailored to that specific store. The Battery Effect is a free service for residential users that does not contain in app premiums or ads. The only requirement of a user is to register with their name, email address and zip code, to be able to drop off their used batteries and take advantage of exclusive promotions. We earn revenue through a monthly subscription paid by our retail clients. These benefits include increased foot traffic, increased sales opportunities through custom in app promotions, consumer insight data, access to our social responsibility platform and a reduction in their customer acquisition and marketing cost. Lastly, our social responsibility platform provides our clients a stage to share their story. Every business owner has a reason for doing what they do.
